NURS 6101 Advanced Neurobiology and Pharmacology

1 SCH. This course provides students with foundational knowledge in neurobiology, including pharmacogenomics, cellular and molecular neuroscience, neural circuitry, and higher cognitive functions. Emphasis on the interaction between psychopharmacological drugs and the nervous system, mechanisms of action, and therapeutic applications, including the therapeutic and adverse effects of drugs on neural function and behaviors.
