NURS 5350 Pain & Symptom Management
3 SCH. This course will address the principles of pain and symptom management in palliative and hospice care. Emphasis on the exploration of barriers to adequate pain and symptom relief in serious illness for patients across the life span. Includes the integration of pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies utilized to relieve pain and symptoms for diverse patient populations patients.
