NURS 5326 Health Insurance and Managed Care

3 SCH. This course will focus on the analysis of health insurance plans, reimbursement models, and managed care, and government access programs and the commercial market to improve patient access to quality care and treatment. Explores the impact of insurance and managed care, provider network development, and various health insurance plans on nursing practice and patient outcomes.
