NURS 4308 Scholarship and Evidence-Based Practice

3 SCH. This nursing inquiry course focuses on generating, synthesizing, translating, applying, and disseminating nursing knowledge to improve health, transform healthcare, and ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based practice.  The design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation of research in nursing and legal and ethical considerations are examined.  The research process and types of research are addressed. Emphasis is placed on locating, selecting, and critiquing relevant research to assure career-long learning.
