NURS 4305 Leadership, Quality, and Safety in Practice

3 SCH. This course explores whole health concepts and safety principles driven by effective leadership, improvement science, and application of health policy and evidence-based practice. Learners will discuss leadership behavior models, methods of communication, strategies to resolve conflict, and benefit of delegation. External forces impacting healthcare provisions will be covered, including research evidence, utilization review, case management, regulatory bodies, payer systems and government agencies.
