NURS 4301 Collaborative Care & Nursing Practice

3 SCH. This course introduces students to the essential knowledge and roles involved in baccalaureate nurse practice in an interprofessional care delivery model. Principles covered include historical foundations of nursing, nursing theories, professional identity formation, effective team-based communication and interaction, and integration of role responsibilities. Law and ethics governing the practice of nursing are analyzed through a safety promotion and organizational lens.
