NURS 4101 Nursing Care Distinctive to Veterans

1 SCH. This course introduces students to American veterans, as a population with unique and complex health care needs. Focusing on health conditions and barriers common to those who serve, engage in conflict, and then return home. Special considerations must be identified, implemented, and included to achieve the whole health of the individual and family unit. Topics include physical, behavioral, psychological, and socialization needs as a U.S veteran.
