DPHT 7252 Clinical Management of the Patient with Neuromuscular Conditions II 2 SCH. This is the second of two courses to focus on examination, evaluation, and interventions of adults with neurologic and neuromuscular dysfunction across the continuum of care. The instructional approach of the course will include didactic lecture, interactive labs, and case study presentations with an emphasis on problem-oriented learning in an effort to encourage active student participation and clinical decision making. Laboratory sessions will emphasize the development of specific psychomotor skills necessary for the successful assessment and treatment of adult patient populations. Dysfunctions mainly include, but are not limited to, vestibular dysfunctions and spinal cord injuries. Offered Spring Letter Grade
