BMSC 6150 Laboratory Rotations for PhD Students


1 SCH. PhD students work in a research laboratory on activities directed by the instructor to become acquainted with the research and laboratory environment before selecting a major professor. All PhD students in the Biomedical Science discipline are required to complete a minimum of two laboratory rotations. The primary goal of rotations is to help a student choose a major professor. A secondary goal is to expose students to a number of areas of study to expand expertise and knowledge in research techniques. The student will be evaluated using the Laboratory Rotation Evaluation by Faculty Supervisor Document and associated rubric.
