BMSC 5395 Thesis for MS Students 3-9 SCH. This course is for MS students involved in thesis research with a specific major professor who will serve as the course director. The student will perform various tasks related to their research project with guidance provided by the course director. The student is expected to develop biomedical scientific knowledge, research and analytic skills, and communication skills. The student will also engage in professionalism, collegiality, and career development. The student will be evaluated using the Master of Science Evaluation of Annual Progress Document and associated rubric. In the final semester of BMSC 5395, the student will be evaluated using the Traditional Master of Science Evaluation of Thesis Defense and associated rubric. This course is to be scheduled with consent of department. A maximum of 6 SCH total will be allowed toward the degree requirements. Continuous enrollment in BMSC 5395 is required after initial registration in this course. Prerequisite: Completion and filing of approved Master of Science Evaluation of research proposal milestone. May be repeated for credit. This course is graded as S/U until the final semester. Student will receive a letter grade for final semester only.
