MEDE 7212 Patient Safety

2 SCH. Course for third-year medical students in preparation for the Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) examination. This course helps participants prepare for the exam by reviewing domainn content areas and test-taking strategies. After completing this course, student will be able to: 1) Review the five patient safety domains in depth, following the exam content outline. 2) Evaluate patient safety scenario examples similar to actual exam questions. 3) Assess individual level of preparedness for the exam and address additional areas for self-study.
