BACH 6310 Qualitative Methods

3 SCH. This course examines different approaches, methods, and techniques for conducting qualitative and mixed methods research. Students will learn methods including forms of observation, ethnography, focus groups, individual interviews, and mixed methods approaches. The course takes students through the process of designing a qualitative study based on a theoretical model that includes developing a conceptual framework, study methodology, and collecting and analyzing data. Prerequisite: Student must complete BACH 5300 or obtain permission of the instructor.
