UNT Health is one of Tarrant County’s largest multi-specialty medical group practices. More than 200 health care providers have nearly 560,000 patient encounters per year.
The group’s doctors, who also teach in the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), practice in medical and surgical specialties including allergy and immunology, cardiology, dermatology, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatrics, internal medicine, manipulative medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopaedics, pediatrics, physical therapy, psychiatry and behavioral health, pulmonology, and surgery. They work with talented and dedicated support from the full spectrum of providers such as physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, certified nurse-midwives and medical assistants.
Primary Care is offered at all UNT Health locations (primary care sports medicine at Bone and Joint Institute).
The JPS Health Network is a major clinical partner for UNT Health Science Center (UNTHSC), representing about 65 percent of our total patient encounters. In addition to JPS Health Network, UNTHSC providers practice at HCA Plaza Medical Center and THR Harris Hospital.
