IPAN 6330 Structural Anatomy of the Human Musculoskeletal System

3 SCH. This course is designed to familiarize the student with the gross and microscopic structures of the human musculoskeletal/skin system. Lecture materials on the gross and histological morphology of human muscles and skin and associated bones, nerves, arteries, veins, ligaments and tendons will be supported by detailed dissections of those structures on human cadavers. Completion of a mentor-directed research project utilizing knowledge of musculoskeletal/skin system and dissection skills required in the laboratory is required.
