MOMG 6435 Molecular Aspects of Cell Signaling 4 SCH. Advanced study of signal transduction events from the plasma membrane to the nucleus. Topics include; receptor activation, the generation of second messengers, kinases and phosphatases, cell-cell and cell-matrix communication, and transcriptional regulation. The course format will consist of lectures, discussion of assigned readings, and presentation of literature articles and participation of relevant seminars. Prerequisites: BMSC 6302 or consent of the instructor. Prerequisite: Student must have completed BMSC 6302 or obtain the consent of the instructor. Offered FALL ODDYR ABC/NC
