PHAR 5323 Applied Statistics in Health Outcomes Research


3 SCH. This course trains the students to apply statistical methods in health outcomes research and perform appropriate statistical techniques. The topics will include analyzing data with analysis of variance, multivariable regressions (example: ordinary least squares regression, logistic regression), survival methods, and commonly used non-parametric methods using statistical software. The students will be trained to build models, analyze data, interpret the results, and make appropriate tables for inclusion in
project reports, scholarly articles, and presentations.
Prerequisite: Enrollment in MS-AOR Program
