PHAN 5402 Structural Anatomy 4 SCH. The study of human gross anatomy is basic to the science and practice of medicine and other health professions. This course is designed to provide you with a practical, working knowledge of the structures of the human body. A solid overview of the gross anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, thoracic region, abdominal region, and head & neck will provide participating students with a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of the human body. These topics will be taught in five separate units titled: 1) Upper Limb, 2) Back & Lower Limb, 3) Head & Neck, 4) Thorax & Cardiopulmonary System, and 5) Abdomen & Gastrointestinal System. Prerequisite: PHAN 5400 Offered Spring Letter Grade
