MPAS 5401 Clinical Anatomy

4 SCH. This course involves the study of human anatomical structures, their function, and their relationship to selected disease processes, with emphasis on the application of this knowledge to PA practice. This course focuses on anatomical relationships of organs and organ systems and how these relationships inform and influence diagnosis and patient management. Learning strategies utilized may include lectures, group activities, team-based learning activities, laboratory-based studies, anatomical models, plastinated specimens, prosected cadavers, and anatomy software. Assessments are conducted using written examinations/quizzes and lab practicals.
