PHAN 6340 Structural and Developmental Anatomy of the Musculoskeletal/Skin System

4 SCH. This course is designed to familiarize the student with the structures and function of the human musculoskeletal/skin system. Specific areas of the human body studied in the course include: superficial and deep back, upper limbs, lower limbs, and head and neck. Lecture materials on the structures of skin, bone, muscle, nerves, arteries, veins, ligaments and tendons will be supported by detailed dissections of those structures on human cadavers. Common clinical issues associated with the musculoskeletal system will be covered.
