MEDE 9480 Elective Clerkship - Global Health Disparities


4 SCH. The four-week global health disparities elective rotation provides students with the knowledge and understanding of health disparities to effectively promote health, decrease disabilities, and prevent death for diverse patient populations, domestically and globally. Special focus will be devoted to low- and middle-income countries and their efforts improve their current health status.
Prerequisite: OMS lll or OMS lV in good standing, approval of course director, and completion of all clinic site requirements prior to start of clinical skills portion of course e.g., Cornerstone volunteer credeentialing.
