MEDE 9442 Elective Clerkship - Caring for Older Adults

4 SCH. Students will become familiar with the Age-Friendly Health System’s 4-M’s Framework, exploring how formal assessment and action in the areas of What Matters, Mentation, Mobility and Medication can lead to safer and more cost effective care for Older Adults across all settings of care.  Students will also reflect on the patient experience and how aspects of our healthcare system may promote or detract from a positive patient experience.
