MPAS 5451 Underserved Practicum

4 SCH. This is a supervised clinical experience that focuses on the unique relationship between the primary care provider and the patient population in underserved settings. Students learn the aspects of providing care, as well as the health care resources available in underserved communities. Assessment is conducted using preceptor evaluations, completion of a written assignment covering course objectives, multiple choice quizzes, and participation in patient care and PASS Day activities.
