BIOS 6400 Advanced Biostatistics for Clinical Sciences 4 SCH. The course emphasizes the design, implementation, analysis, and reporting of research investigations. Topics include methods for multinomial response variables, methods for ordinal response, log-linear regression for Poisson counts, analysis of longitudinal data for continuous and binary outcomes, structural equation modeling, life tables, Kaplan-Meier and proportional hazards methods for analysis of time to event data and advanced methods for sample size calculation. Prerequisite: Students must be accepted to the Biostatistics Certificate for Clinicians and Health Professionals program to enroll in this course. Offered Fall Letter Grade
