MEDE 8411 Core Clerkship - Psychiatry (Rural Scholars Program) 4 SCH. This course is a required four-week rotation in psychiatry that serves as the clinical phase of the graduate curriculum in psychiatry and human behavior. Students will perform evaluations, develop diagnostic paradigms, develop treatment plans, provide supportive psychotherapy, and summarize their findings under the supervision of both regular and affiliated faculty members. This course is restricted to students enrolled in the Rural Scholars Program and satisfies the core clerkship in Psychiatry requirement in the general medical school curriculum. Offered Fall and Spring Pass/No Pass
