MEDE 8441 Core Clerkship - Manipulative Medicine (Rural Scholars Program) 4 SCH. A required four-week rotation directed by the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. This rotation includes an intensive didactic and hands-on review of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and will be done at the Rural Family Medicine continuity site. It will be scheduled consecutive with the Core Rural Family Medicine rotation. Students will incorporate Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment into the management of patients they see under supervision at their rural continuity site. Students are responsible for an end-of-rotation written examination, case logs, quiz completion and a written case report. This course is available to Rural Scholars students only and will satisfy the Core Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine clerkship requirement. Offered Fall and Spring Pass/No Pass
