MEDE 7405 Advanced Dissection Techniques in Clinical Anatomy

4 SCH. This course is designed to provide students with enhanced knowledge of clinical anatomy beyond that gained in the first-year curriculum prior to clerkship rotations. Students will work individually with the course director(s) to identify an anatomy-based project. Approved projects will involve a detailed, cadaver-based investigation of multiple anatomical region/systems. At the end of the course, students will deliver a short, clinically-focused presentation based on their experience and findings. Students will be expected to integrate basic science and clinical knowledge to enhance their preparation for future clinical clerkships.
