NURS 4312 Developing Pathophysiology, Pharmacotherapy, and Safe Medication Management

3 SCH. This course is part-two of a three-part series. This developing course builds upon the previous course and provides a focused examination of selected pathophysiology and concurrent pharmacology concepts. Learners will explore the physiologic changes, clinical manifestations of altered health, pharmacotherapy related to acute and specialty nursing care settings, with emphasis on the nurse’s role in safe medication administration, patient education, and evidence-based practice.
