BMSC 5221 Clinical & Research Ethics 2 SCH. This course will introduce students to a practical application of clinical, and research ethics. Clinical, and research ethics are approached from an inter-professional perspective and the intended audience for this course is students across health care and health sciences professions. A book titled “Clinical Ethics: A Graphic Medicine Casebook” will be utilized to facilitate exploration and reflection on choices and consequences related to clinical ethics. Additional material on Research Ethics will enable students understand and apply the elements of research integrity and responsible conduct of research. Students must complete the CITI Human Subjects Research and Responsible Conduct of Research online courses, and submit the certificate of completion for course credit by the deadline. Offered Fall and Spring Letter Grade
