MPAS 5461 Internal Medicine Practicum

4 SCH. This is a supervised clinical practice experience that focuses on the adult and elderly patient population by concentrating on the evaluation and ongoing treatment, including preventive care, of patients with complex medical problems and/or chronic illness. This practicum contains experiences in either the outpatient and/or inpatient setting for the discipline. Assessment is conducted using preceptor evaluations, written examination, documentation of patient encounters, and PASS Day activities.
