MPAS 5451 Underserved Practicum
4 SCH. This is a supervised clinical practice experience that focuses on the unique relationship between the primary care provider and the patient population in underserved settings. Students learn the aspects of providing care, developing disease prevention plans, and utilizing health care resources available in underserved communities. Assessment is conducted using preceptor evaluations, case presentation, interprofessional collaboration, documentation of patient encounters, and PASS Day activities.
