MPAS 5207 Principles of Evidence Based Medicine

2 SCH. This course is designed to develop the student’s ability to interpret and appraise evidence in the medical literature and apply the results to clinical decision-making. This course focuses on identifying and interpreting the key aspects of medical literature, addressing the quality of research findings related to purpose, study design, sample-size/methods, data, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results. Assessment is conducted using lab assignments and written examinations.
