Osteopathic Research Center

The Osteopathic Research Center is housed within the Department of Family Medicine and conducts translational research relating to primary care. It engages investigators and the community in patient-centered research through various projects, including the Pain Registry for Epidemiological, Clinical, and Interventional Studies in North Texas (PRECISION TEXAS). The center focuses on the biopsychosocial model of health care and emerging aspects of precision medicine to conduct research on the effectiveness of medical interventions and patient safety.
