MACH 5331 Human Sexuality & Health 3 SCH. This course introduces students to the major theories and concepts guiding research on human sexuality. Students learn how the study of sexuality informs public health practice. A number of controversial issues are explored including: sexuality education, sexual risk taking, sexual orientation, unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and disease, and sexual harassment and violence. Ethical issues related to sexual health promotion are addressed. Prerequisite: Student must complete MACH 5330 or BACH 5300 or obtain permission from the instructor. Offered Spring Letter Grade
