PHAR 7322 Pharmacogenetics, Pharmacogenomics, and Personalized Medicine

The principles of pharmacogenetics and genomics and how they relate to personalized medicine including nomenclature; the genetic basis of diseases, drug response and metabolism; biomarkers for adverse drug reactions; toxicogenetics; legal/ethical and economic issues; and implications for managing drug therapy.
