PHED 6314 Methods for Public Health Studies 1

This course is the first part of a two-course sequence in doctoral research methods for both the PhD and DrPH students culminating in the submission of a scientific manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal by the end of the second part. This first part prepares students to critically evaluate scientific literature, conduct a comprehensive literature review, form a research question, apply for IRB approval, and write the Introduction and Methods sections for a manuscript. Letter Grade
