PHAR 7160 APPE Readiness

1 SCH. PHAR 7160 is a 1-credit hour, pre-APPE readiness course which serves as a continuation of prior IPPE courses. Students are expected to apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the areas of patient care, medical writing, drug information, and disease state knowledge. Through numerous course activities, students will develop search strategies, evaluate medical literature, and develop formal written deliverables pertaining to specific medication-related topics. This course also encompasses advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) training and an interprofessional code blue simulation activity.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of P2 year of PharmD program.
