PHAR 7215 Introduction to Special Populations 2 SCH. is an introductory course, which will provide students the opportunity to develop enhanced skills in the provision of pharmacotherapy to the special populations, focusing on the pediatric and geriatric populations. This course will involve advanced discussion of the social, economic, and ethical issues associated with special populations, as well as the pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, and management of common medical conditions in the pediatric and geriatric populations. Prerequisite: Completion of the first year professional pharmacy curriculum. Offered Fall Letter Grade
