DPHT 7270 Practice Management and Leadership in Physical Therapy
2 SCH. This course discusses principles of leadership and management for physical therapy practice, including ethical behaviors and beliefs; change management; motivating; coaching and mentoring; lifelong learning; business and strategic planning; financial management; personnel recruitment and retention; liability issues and risk management; effective marketing and consulting skills.
Prerequisite: Completion of all pre-requisite coursework and/or with the permission of the Department Chair.
